If there are so many cards and since we start in round 9 it wont really matter, then why not just complete draft cards and go. superfast!
Cant understand why the overwhelming desire to have DD draft if it really doesnt matter much
just sayin (isnt that what kids write here nowadays?)

I for one, think it does matter, esp to try and eliminate wrongly drafted players.
We're only using 4 years and there are 72 keepers, hard to keep track of whose kept so as not to draft them. After 16 players, your roster is pretty set.
I think we should try the 2 hour clock and see how it goes.

All, before I make my steal pick, I wanted to alert everyone that I'm going to stay in [b:317d9a679e]Minute Maid Park '05[/b:317d9a679e] for season 2. I re-read the rules last night and it seems I can keep my current field for up to three seasons. No other manager has chosen that park to play in so I'll take it again for season 2.

I tend to agree. It doesn't matter to me much either way. But most of the players that responded wanted to use DD.

LJs - no problem. minute Maid it is
I also think rjoh is right that with the 2 hour clock turned on it won't take nearly as long as the first draft. Personally, I plan on setting a lot of proxies and keeping them turned on.
