2010 Keeper League Season 5 Prospect Draft

Fellas,
The Prospect Draft will non-serpentine and the Draft Order is based on the previous season's regular season records/AFA Draft.

Each team will be able to select 3 Prospects which is any player who DID NOT RECEIVE A CARD on the TSN/SOm website in this year or any other year, and is the property of a MLB Team.

Owners lose rights to all Prospects that they release. Released Prospects are eligible to be drafted as either a) Free Agents if they were issued SN/SOM Cards or b) prospects again if never issued SN/SOM Cards.

There is no clock for the 1st Round. All subsequent rounds will operate with a 3 Hour Clock weekends as well.

He has gone missing from some other leagues also. Something is up, but no one seems to know what.

Please look on the ILC board for Hawk's status. I suggest we postpone the draft and league start for a week or more and see if he's able to rejoin at that point.

We are going to suspend the Prospect Draft and starting the league/season in lieu of Hawk's unknown status. You can load your team though, but we won't start until Hawk can rejoin the AFA Draft and Prospect Draft. If anyone has a phone number please call him or hear anything from other leagues let us know. Here is what Kaviksdad has found out about Hawk. It is a medical issue.

There are a lot of us out in the SOM world that share leagues with "Nythawk." His sudden absence a week or so ago has left a lot of us wondering just what happened.

I received an email from Nythawk's wife this morning. His absence is the result of a medical issue, and it may be a short time before he can rejoin us. Without going into details, it is a serious issue but the prognosis is good and he should be returning in the near future. Just when that will be isn't known right now.

I've assured Hawk's wife that our main concern is his well-being, and that his (and her) priority should be to take care of himself. I'm sure we'll all do what we can to cover for him in his absence. If you are in a league with Nythawk would you please share this with the other members.

Let's reverse the order of loading so we can be ready to start whenever Hawk is back on line. I just withdrew from the East.
