I have only recently started to play theme leagues and therefore my suggestion is based on very limited experience but i have noticed that modmark seems to be in quite a few of these leagues. i hope this doesnt sound insensitive because that is not my intent since i know this is a very difficult time for him and his family but i was just wondering if any of those of you who know him better think he might be interested in this league as well. If so, should a spot be reserved for him?

That's a kind gesture, fraank, and I'm [b:dec5f8744d]sure [/b:dec5f8744d]Mark would appreciate it, but I just feel that he has many more priorities right now. I know I would love to see him play, but that is not even on the list of priorities for me right now, but instead praying for his family and comfort for them in this time of loss.

if anyone is thinking about joining, but you do not like the Cubs, Dodgers or Mets... the teams left at this point, feel free to take the Twins (Joe Mauer, Johann Santana, David Ortiz, the new Knoblauch, Nathan...) and assign me one of the remaining open teams..

Cubs - hitter parks, B Williams, Sosa, Hickman, Santo, Sandberg and studs Sutter, Smith and Henry in the bull pen

Dodgers - the new Butler and Parker cards looks good to me, P. Guerrero and Piazza hit in every league I have ever been in... Marshall gives a lot of quality innings in the bull pen decent starters with: Hershiser, Messersmith, Hooton, Valenzuela

Mets - Hernandez and Alfonzo give a great right side of the inf, Wright is a stud 3b, Strawberry and Beltran will give good HR/RBI totals.. Myers is great in the pen, Gooden, Koosman, Ojeda, matlack are all good starters for a 100mil lg...

I'm also willing to trade out the Indians if the leftover teams are what is keeping someone out of the league.
