Guys - I've just exchanged emails with Nythawk's wife. His absence is the result of a medical issue, and it may be a short time before he can rejoin us. Without going into details, it is a serious issue but the prognosis is good and he should be returning in the near future. Just when that will be isn't known right now.

I've assured Hawk's wife that our main concern is his well-being, and that his (and her) priority should be to take care of himself. I'm sure we'll all do what we can to cover for him in his absence.

His team is on auto-pilot and he's on the DL, but he has a shot to take the Central. No offense KD but I gotta root for the Hawkster tonight....

Congrats to the other playoff teams, AFD has locked up the WC and FD has the West won. Lots of good runs by Smitty, Smokey, KD (who still has a shot obviously) and others. Should make for a fun Season 2, let's see what happens tonight for the last spot in Season 1.

Bad news: looks like he'll be out for the rest of the year.

Good news: should have a $5-6M card as he made 5 starts and logged 31 IP with a 1.16 WHIP and a .615 OPS against.
