In settlement of the first-round pick snafu, Cshannajr gets Smyly and sjkorte gets Trevor May and bonus pick after everybody else has picked.

I won't put up much stink, but I'm not sure why this warrants an extra pick. The owner who posted second -even if it was nearly identical- kisses out. After that a repick should be made. however far into the future it is. If we open this door, why not others? Say someone who picked a prospect not listed on the roster sheet, the draft goes on and it's found that the prospect is listed in the prospect draft page?

I second Rant's view. The compensation of an additional highly rated prospect does not seem fair to the other 20 owners. In fact, I will encourage all other owners to slight me in the same way and I'll gladly accept the extra "can't miss" prospect

Here's my 2 cents -

1. There was an innocent mistake made. The commish has said that he was sorry that he missed the mistake.

2. It will not be possible to please everyone with the solution.

3. Rant said he's not going to put up a huge stink.

4. The commish has come up with a compromise solution

5. A few of the other managers have complained, but only a few.

6. Something needs to be done, and in my view, the commish's solution is a decent solution. See #2. He is the commissioner after all. There is no happy status quo here. Turtle has come up with something, and unless there is a palace revolt with a quorum, turtle is still the commish and makes rulings.

By the way, I was the guy who picked D'arnaud - and I am not complaining. Look, it just doesn't always work out perfectly. I am ready accept the commissioner's recommendation and move on.

I suggest that if many of you feel the same, please voice your opinions as well, so that we can move on.

Rant and Jodynadu, don't take this the wrong way - you have a point. It's just that we have to come up with something, or else we risk degenerating to chaos, and the demise of the league.
