Dr Freeze... Red Sox and Braves are two entirely different franchises and history. Ultimately it's your call... but they are not the same franchise.

Boston Red Sox
1908 - present
Boston Americans
1901 - 1907

Atlanta Braves
1966 - present
Milwaukee Braves
1953 - 1965
Boston Braves
1941 - 1952
Boston Bees
1936 - 1940
Boston Braves
1912 - 1935
Boston Rustlers
1911 - 1911
Boston Doves
1907 - 1910
Boston Beaneaters
1883 - 1906
Boston Red Caps
1876 - 1882

Putting them together would be like combining Milw Brewers and Milw Braves

[quote:8bf20fd0e4="emart"]Not the most educated historian here. Are we assuming that newer franchises such as the Mets, Padres, Expos, Astros, Bluejays, Angels, Rangers, Mariners, and the like are not affiliated with any other franchise?[/quote:8bf20fd0e4]

Correct Eric although Rangers and Exp Washington is an Entry all thought not selected

[quote:55db43da72="tuvthomas"]So it's first come, first serve on drafting players right? Not necessarily to the highest price card?

And Dr Freeze - did you pick a team yet? I didn't see it.

And who makes the call on obscure teams from the 19th century on older players?[/quote:55db43da72]

Yes 1st player to get is yours and u can use any card as long as he played for team in his career
