Thank you and everyone else for your thoughts and prayers during this rough time in our lives.David is very thankful and overwhelmed by all the well wishes and support sent to him from the strat community.The good news is that there is a light finally at the end of the tunnel.David has a few more tests that he has to get through before his dr will release him.Best case scenario is he will be released Friday though the dr has told him that the most realistic date would be this coming Monday.Once again we would like to thank you personally and everyone else as well for the kind thoughts and prayers.Lori,Dave and Family.[/i:da8ee11fef]

Looks like Hawk will be rejoining us shortly.

So here's the tentative plan:

Final drops will be due on Friday, May 18th.

The free agent draft will begin Monday, May 21st.

Sykes has until this weekend to check in - if not I have already told mfl536 he's in, and he's agreed. He's bailed us out in another league, and some of us have played with him in other leagues - so I'm glad he's stepped up for us.

Let me know if anyone has a problem with this adjusted schedule and we'll try and work around it. This is a really tentative date, as I want to give Hawk what time he needs to feel up to participating.

Thank you KD for getting us this far and keeping us together.

I will be going to Japan on 29 May so am likely to be quite unsettled for several days that week as I try to get plugged back into reliable internet. That should be accomplished by 5 June. We shall see what happens in the interim.

Guys - haven't heard back from Sykes to any of my emails, so we're going to take advantage of Mike's offer to replace him. Please welcome Mike (Mfl536) to the USKL 2 fold.

We're still waiting for Hawk to rejoin us - and if it's this week we'll get going on the draft next Monday. If not, we're most likely then looking at starting the first full week of June, once Cubit get's himself settled in the land of the rising sun...

I take it we are still in a holding pattern? That is fine with me, and I'm happy to give Hawk as much time as he needs to get back to us. But I do want to revise my keep list, so please let me know the new drop date when we have one.
