So technically I still have until the 14th under the "rburgh New 24TKL pick expiration clause". Clearly I am holding up all of the other drafts and orders of business that we must get to ASAP. But don't worry I'll have it in soon enough.

Except for Shakey's medical emergency, you are consistently the slowest guy here.

We all managed to complete the draft despite these issues. It would surely, however, have been a more pleasant endeavor were it not for tardiness and invalid pcks (i made one too.) We should all try to do better next year.

If you are researching prospects, more power to you. If you are just waiting to snag the next callup, I hope Turtle throws you out of the league.

This is just my opinion, and you are all free to assign whatever weight you feel is appropriate to it.

I agree, the delay ain't cool... For next Prospect draft I hope we can add a draft end date. The prospect draft should conclude after a reasonable period of time (24 hours after the final scheduled selection slot works for me) and unused picks could be either forfeited or maybe moved to the end of the next prospect draft. Exceptions for emergencies at the commissioner's discretion, of course. What do you think, Commish(es)?

Personally, I think we should start the prospect draft on the day that the first spring training game between ML teams is played. First 4 guys have time slots on day 1, next 4 on day 2, etc. for the first round. Then 12 1-hour slots per day for the next four days. Draft over in 10 days.

That gets us out of tax season, for the most part. It would be a good time for those of us who play roto, as well - get us focused on possible impact rookies.

We don't have to start the regular draft until the cards come out, but why on earth can't the prospect draft start when everybody's focused on the youngsters. Young guys are getting to strut their stuff, while the vets are still working on their timing.
