Robinson broke the color barrier in the major leagues when he debuted for the Brooklyn Dodgers in 1947. The move opened the door for African Americans to play in the majors.
"I don't really think that Negro league baseball shoulda been broken up," Rocker says during an interview that will air tonight on ESPN's E:60, according to The Boston Globe.

White nonsense, black nonsense, green nonsense, is all nonsense. this wasn't an explanation of his childhood days. It was about how he was not glad that MLB and NLB combined their talent. That, uttered by any other white source, would be racist. So he doesn't get a bye.
You know I teach teenagers music 4 days/wk- and at first they usually dont get it either.
Then I say something in a slightly different way with maybe an analogy that connects better.
By the end of the year, after they are sick of hearing me, they sound damn good.
The good news is that if you are feeling a bit upset - it means that we are engaged in a dialogue that might lead us somewhere, if not today, then tomorrow.
