Eh, I forgot about that section, Turtle is supposed to clean up the prospect/roster rules. He will have to rule about Altuve, I don't have a problem with it except that most keeper leagues do not allow promotions after uneven trades. But it does say that you can promote prospects so I suppose it should be allowed.

If Turtle does not check in by 7 est tonight and you want to use Altuve for tonight's games go ahead and use him, with the understanding that Turtle might disallow it tomorrow (he usually does not check in until later at night). But for tonight I use my awesome power :roll: as assistant commish and allow the use of Altuve.

My general rule of thumb is that if it doesn't offset the balance (i.e., there is no reason no to let someone do something) let them do it. makes thigns much simpler.

Don't mean to cause a stir, it's really not a big deal... I just think clarifying the rule would be a good idea. I'll just wait for Turtle's ruling (it's not as if Altuve will be the savior of my team, which apparently didn't get the memo that baseball is about more than hitting home runs!). Yes, we should wait if possible. Two points to consider.

1. If activating the prospect was going to make a difference, it would have been done. Case in point - I have no intention of activating Chisenhall, even though he's my best 3B, since my team isn't good enough for it to matter.

2. Be wary of setting a precedent - they can bite you in the *** in unexpected ways.

I'm in favor of allowing the use of Altuve this year, but my vote and 5 bucks will get you a cup of coffee at Starbucks.
