Any chance of having a field that will show the percentage of dice rolls on a particular player's card? (Maybe on the "Team" page?)

cash prizes?

Postby luckyass » Tue May 29, 2012 8:35 am

before the internet, I used to travel and play in SOM tournaments...I really enjoyed paying an entry fee, and then playing for cash prizes. Any chance of that ever happening with SOM online?

Transition from Sporting News

Postby tigertim176 » Thu May 31, 2012 8:58 am

This is great! Is it true that I can now post reply`s without having to join facebook ! ( i refuse ) or have the Huffington Post shoved in my face every day ! Sporting News has not been the same since they left St. Louis.
I recently ended a almost 40 year subscription, and now i don`t have to visit their web-site either ! Thanks alot SOM !

Happy with the way things are going so far. The only thing I have to add to this is to PLEASE make sure there is a clear link to contact customer support specifically regarding this game. One thing I, and I'm sure everyone else doesn't want is the loss of ability to contact you if necessary, or for it to be difficult to figure out how to do so.

Thanks for all your hard work.

Hi everyone. As the email said that many of you received today, [b:d30f3bd9a7]we are postponing the transition indefinitely.[/b:d30f3bd9a7] I spent last night in the emergency room and have a procedure in the hospital scheduled for tomorrow morning. in light of this, we had no choice but to delay this.

We do have a new target date in mind, which we'll announce as soon as we're we can hit it (i.e. if I'm not gonna kick the bucket!). More details and updated info is forthcoming.

Thanks for your understanding.

I'm a bit concerned that some, and not all, of us received the emails.

There's the warning to verify email addresses at the beginning of the announcement. Verify and you're supposedly ok. Which I did.

Which leads to the question - If we didn't get the email will we be able to access the new site?

I've been through enough upgrades and migrations that I come to expect major screwups - regardless of who or where the upgrades are taking place. There's always something to gum up the works, and I'm hoping the fact I didn't get the email doesn't mean I won't be able to access my teams.
