Learned helplessness.

They should be giving away teams after this fiasco.

It's not about WHEN the site is up and running. It's about HOW the process is handled.

This has been handled very poorly, and continues to be handled poorly.

If you want throw good money after bad, knock yourself out. A professional outfit would have kept quiet until they were all ready to go.

Well it's up. But it says I only have one credit. I have four Champs that earned two credits each not to mention two teams losing finals that appear on the very truncated list of recent teams. I might have already used 3 or four of those but I know I had about 6 credits not yet claimed from those teams.

All those credits appear to have vanished.

Not only are they not giving credits after this fiasco it seems they are doing just the opposite.

Did I say the new interface sucks too. The old one was not too bad. But I guess this is progress. :x

Welcome to the New Strat on line. But hey, don't mind if we steal your existing unclaimed credits. Hey, if enough people total up their losses we should have a good class action lawsuit not to mention felony charges. Maybe we can get a lien on the Glen Head site.

I agree about the new interface -- it's a disappointing downgrade. SOM has never been contemporary in their design aesthetics, hence the goofy fonts and the dull layout. I wish it could look more like the Sporting News design. Maybe the new features will outweigh this aspect. Let's hope so.

The Sporting News design worked because it looked like [i:396bc166b7]newspaper boxscores[/i:396bc166b7] when you'd open the morning paper -- this looks like something some wannabe web designer made.

The new interface works 10 times better on an iPad and for that alone I am thrilled. I feel confident that the credit issues will get worked out.

It took me less than 5 minutes before I started getting eye strain with
the strat background and the bright new interface colors. The green
turf behind the blue and white tables don't mix well. Just made a smaller
window, that works. But bad first impression on that one.

Although visiting the site previously, strat-o-matic.com appears to
be an "aesthetic-free zone." So I don't know why I was surprised
by this on this visit.
