[quote:eaa9a2963e="latorrer"][quote:eaa9a2963e="tcochran"]Thanks for the roster spreadsheet, Rob.
Now, can you interpret some of the column headings for us CD-newbies?
Batting
R. LEFT%
Y. SUPPLEMENTAL - STEAL
AL. CIAv
AM. DP (# as fielder?)
Thanks![/quote:eaa9a2963e]
[b:eaa9a2963e]LEFT [/b:eaa9a2963e]% - Percentage of ABs vs LH Pitchers for Batters, Percentage of LH Batters faced for Pitchers
[b:eaa9a2963e]SUPPLEMENTAL - STEAL[/b:eaa9a2963e] - " * 78% 22% (15-8) "
78% = Percent that the runner will get a good lead
22% = Percent that he will be picked off or caught stealing immediately, no roll of the dice for the 15-8 numbers.
Assuming Good/Bad lead and not immediately out.
15 = 20 sided dice roll for safely stolen base if the runner got a good lead, 15 or less means safe
8 = 20 sided dice roll for safely stolen base if the runner got a good lead, 8 or less means safe
Keep in mind that the 15 and 8 are modified by the Pitchers hold rating and the catchers Arm.
[b:eaa9a2963e]CLAv[/b:eaa9a2963e] - The batter's CLUTCH batting average (runners on 2nd or 3rd with 2 outs). These are the results on the card with the "$". The "$" turns on OUT result into a Single**, and turns a HIT result into an out (popout I think).
[b:eaa9a2963e]DP[/b:eaa9a2963e] - Number of GBa (DP chances) on a batters card. For a % of DPs a batter will hit into, divide by 216.
All of the above are in play in the TSN/SOM online game as well![/quote:eaa9a2963e]
OK, got it. I'm familiar with how the factors work; just was not sure how to decode the cryptic titles in the spreadsheet header.
