Strat-O-Matic.com transition updates

Postby sschu » Wed Jun 20, 2012 10:38 am

Whatever your thoughts about Bernie, TSN and SOM, and Bernie has always done right by me, this is a major disaster. Even if they deploy resources to work out the bugs it will be many months before this game is anything like the last version on TSN. Even just basic UI functionality (like has a trade request been read?) is no longer available.

Anyone have any confidence in the game engine? Auto drafts are a mess, not sure about waivers and roster moves seem tenuous.

I have one freebie left, maybe a couple more depending on how my my present teams do and then I will check back in the fall to see how it goes.

Too bad, hope I am wrong.

Agree with sschu. Sad but true, it's terrible, and I have no confidence in this product any longer. I certainly won't spend money on such a poor quality product that may not be fixed, if at all, for a long time. I'll let my current teams play out, and find other things to do.

Come on guys. The case hasn't even gone to the jury yet. The prosecution has presented its case (maybe), but the defense hasn't had its day in court yet.

Are we, as a group, THAT ADHD and OCD (I admit to my own level of it) that we can't be patient a few weeks until this crapp gets sorted out?

I think alot of the guys main concerns are that even the basics from the tsn site are not included yet. Most were probably anticipating all from the tsn site included plus all the new features we would be seeing, I know I was.

Waivers

Postby bernieh » Wed Jun 20, 2012 1:03 pm

Waivers will be run in just 5 minutes for all leagues whose deadlines are today. Transactions will be suspended until 5pm for those leagues, per the plan. I'll post more details as we go along.

For leagues with Waivers deadlines today only

Postby bernieh » Wed Jun 20, 2012 1:25 pm

Waiver claim processing was executed at around 2:05pm ET on all leagues scheduled for today. All teams have the correct amount of cash, a valid number of players, and from our end it looks like everything was successful. According to the plan, all free agent transactions and trading are suspended in these leagues until 5pm ET. During this time, if you notice anything significantly wrong with how the Waiver claim processing went, please email us at onlinegamesupport@strat-o-matic.com and we'll take a look. We are prepared to roll things back if we need to, but we don't think it'll come to that. To be safe, though, allow for the possibility that the results of the Waiver claim processing may change for your league. We'll let you know the official word in any case.
