It's always a tough choice for me, in these live drafts, when my turn comes up. Do I take the player that best fits the type of team I wish to build, or park I want to play in? Or, do I simply take the best player (IMO) available at the time, irregardless (mostly) of his position, or my team needs? :)
I joined up within two weeks of the TSN's inaugural launch in May 2002 and have been playing this game for four years now. (ATG actually was the second product after the 2001 game and came out in Fall 2002.) This is the first time I have ever chosen Pete Alexander in the first round - although Munich Man has made quite a career out of it. :)
After 10 straight hitters, it was along your lines of best available player. I think it is a fine balance but ultimately you have to tilt towards what's best for your team in the end. Or I think so... :?
In these live drafts all the managers pretty much know who they want.
It's just a matter if your lucky enough to manuvre the draft to get most of them. :D
Joe, that pick pissed me off :x but once again eliminated one of my choices. I love Collins, that's what's frustrating about these live drafts, you have your eye on a guy thinking how you will build your team and Poof! He's gone, I really wanted Cuyler to, oh well, i guess i'll take........ :?
So Jon took Chance because all his "Most Wanted" got taken
Well Jon you'll have LA-Z-BOY "Lucky 13" coming up, maybe you'll get a better draft spot. hehehehehehehehe
