Randy is correct. A "Bomber" Team can win if it can keep it's ERA under 6.00. Unfortunately, this pitching staff does not stand a chance of doing that. You need pitchers who don't have a lot of BP HR's on their cards. Cheap starters and quality relievers is usually the best way to go.

The only guys worth keeping are Morton, Murphy and Morehead. Uhle is not bad, it's just the +5 hold that I can't stand.

Worrell is nice trade bait.

Everyone else MUST GO.

IMHO, Simmons and his +2 arm behind the plate must go also. Parrish, Crandall, Lollar, May & Gedman are other reasonably priced options.

You will score plenty of runs. But, if it were my team, I'd dump Ott and find a "1" CF instead. Dawson, Mays, Snider, Doby would be my first choices.

( As Von splits the crowd , elbowing his way through ) . "Ahem " Your pitching will kill you , bottom line . The offense will be nice but your staff will plain and simple suck ! I would recommend dropping Boggs at 3rd and getting a Boyer , Gardner type . Take the money saved and get some pitchers . Cheapie bargains at Baker that are good . Maxwell, James, Bagby Sr . Brazle, Flanagan. RP : Staley , Dayley , Stu Miller , Bahnsen , Osinski. These guys will help your staff be better . Without upgrading your pitching , your doomed . :D
