I thought I had a proxy left. :(
So much for [b:8b5971d69f]Betemit [/b:8b5971d69f]and [b:8b5971d69f]Mora[/b:8b5971d69f]. Oddly enough, I learned of Betemit's name when he appeared on my Yahoo! fantasy team this morning.
Who the hell is this guy? Another clown appeared on my roster "Barnes" for the Colorado Rockies. Where did he come from?
Oh well, I went with another Cleveland Indian favorite, Dave Riske.
He'll keep me zippy when he tosses the long ball pitch. Quite a few GBAs on that card as well as HRs. Of course, he should be fine in the dense air at PETCO.
[b:8b5971d69f]9'r[/b:8b5971d69f],
My comments aren't directed to you at all.
Overall, I find the $100m league concept something imported from the ATG guys who all want to field a team of [b:8b5971d69f]Babe Ruths[/b:8b5971d69f]. Otherwise, I'll survive in this NLD season just fine.
Plus, Joe told me the league had been very quiet during my absence. I mean to kick it up a notch this year.
Overall, I'm quite pleased with my rotation and the backend of the bullpen. Besides [b:8b5971d69f]Rivera[/b:8b5971d69f], I don't see any other RPs that measure up to [b:8b5971d69f]Wagner[/b:8b5971d69f]. Considering the NLD's tendency towards LHBs, these two pitchers ought to have a field day.
As for my hitting crew, I expected to see more LHSPs this season given the bias towards LH parks. So I may have gambled on Sexson and Matsui - more here than I would have in the $80m league.
To that end, I'm more than fine. I'm just kicking a little dirt around - :D
