always gets tried early in leagues and always gets dropped...

Is it Gooden? is it Blue? Drabek? Black? Burns?

Have your say.

Sutcliffe? Although he's probably first out of the shoot as 'Plan B,' only to get dropped real quick for Plan C.

[b:f59e1c141b]Gooden[/b:f59e1c141b] seems to be a serial add / drop in my current leagues. He finds his way to the FA only to be re-employed again.

[b:f59e1c141b]Drabek[/b:f59e1c141b] is a strange card. I dropped his arguably worse year (confirmed via injury) only to see him go 13-3.

How about Saberhagen? I see him dropped in most leagues.

And I love Carlton......... I found with Carlton - and probably some of the others - patience is required (I'm probably more patient with him b/c he's a Phil). I've had great seasons with him after bad starts. I've also have great season with him after others have dropped him. And, that goes for all of his cards, although '80 is obviously a great one. The thing going in his favor is that he'll pitch a ton of innings and strike a bunch of guys out.
