First Ring for my son!

Postby nevdully's » Mon Apr 03, 2006 6:16 pm

I was in his division and I'm pretty sure he lead wire to wire! WTG guys. Mark I'm happy he stuck with it through a couple of tough teams, and now I'd say he's officially addicted, and it's just a matter of time before you guys hook up in the Finals. (I'd bet on your son ;) LOL

Congrats again. :D

Congrats on the ring but more important is the wonderful feeling of a father/son doing something together that they enjoy. The championship is the icing on the cake. I wish you both many more happy moments together.....Bobby :D

Congratulations! A terrific job, Ron Taylor, Larry Doyle, Mike Garcia. I thnk those guys are a lot better when Willie Mays and Carl Yastremski are in the outfield covering their backs! A very good job of selecting and managing a 100 million team!

I'll echo all of the above. Happy for father and son, and for Mike Garcia...and for the Red Sox who won their opener today!

Ah yes. i remember the days teaching my son to play Nintendo. "C'mon, try again...it'll get easier with practice." "Nooow your playing. your finally some competition for me." And finally...."'ll play but you need to spot Dad 80 points." Teach him Strat? i don't think so. But congrats to your son Modmark. Don't pay for all his teams and it will take him longer to surpass your W/L record.

I know neither you nor your son.

I must say I hate both of you untill I have won my own championship ring.

At which time , I will be more than happy to say, "Huzzah for fathers and sons"

Untill then, the bile is sapping my writing strength

PS. If you are in my league, Dave Chalk is on the block. Mmmmmm Chalk

Mark,

Congrats to your son and you.

Only one question ... Were you in the league with him and if so, how does it feel to have the pebble snatched from your hand?

Yep, I was in the league. Finished with the second worst record in the league at 72-90. We were like Yin and Yang in that league. Everything he did right I did wrong! That's all right, he still needs 4 more rings to catch up to me. 8)
