Learning OUR inside jokes?!  If we do that just look at the things that Jay will have to look forward to...institutions, shock therapy, and my personal favorite...The lobotomy.

Probably my best hitting night of the year last night vs. Robt's team. :)

Congrats Jeep on getting the loss monkey off your back! Now if you and I could just string some wins together maybe we could climb back into this race.

Time for some shake-ups!

I especially want to move Bay and Cabrera...anybody interested plz send me some deals, otherwise it's take the 20% hit and go from there. All the guys I have w/BP Homers, well the balls are dying in the OF with me in Jacobs and 2 RFK's in my division.

Looking for high AVG/OBP guys and pitching upgrades.

I definately feel for ya jeep. I did the same thing a couple of days back to try to inject some life into the team. Whether or not it works in the long run and get's us both back into the hunt...Only time will tell.

That was a monster trade though that you and Rob did!

Yep, Robt and I pulled off a nice one. Yes it's a cliche, but on paper the trade helps both teams. Maybe it will spark us.

Based upon BOTH our BP's and Divisions...

Postby ROBERTVOZZA » Sat Apr 08, 2006 9:09 pm

The deal should help us both. I pick up some RH OBA in one of the tOP 4 spots(Bay is incredibly versatile) more speed to keep out of rallykilling DP's. Players that get injured less and a whole bunch of Cap options I didn't have previously. Utley, altho dropping a point in range, replaces Griffey's power from BOTH sides. And altho, a 3R, has a ton of Power against the leftside and covers 2 positions. Now I can move Branyan over to 1B vs the right side, Mack to 3B and have no need for another LF.

All I am looking for is a RH RF to both DH vs the right side and play RF vs the leftside.

2 players I really liked, who will really help Jeep are Conine and Iguchi. Well suited for both his Park and Division. While Conine and Griffey bring a ton of firepower with enuf natural HRs from each side to boost his HR totals.

I don't know why I couldn't get quality starts out of Zito, but in a Pitchers Park like Jacobs, the walks will not hurt as much. Definitely a good trade both ways. Maybe I'll fare a little better on the road.
