Was not there some kind of rule that we had to hold onto the players we retained and drafte until after opening day? I know I don't make many trades or moves so I might have that wrong, but I am curious as it has happened now twice in this draft.????

I admit that does ring a bell, but I think that was a couple seasons ago. I think we made trades last season too.....

So as I understand your response there is no requirement that we hold onto any of these players that we have retained or drafted until opening day? And I would guess that logicly there realy is no requirement that we actualy do draft the players that we are selecting if we don't have to hold onto them once we have drafted them? I know that last season I did wait until after opening day to make adjustments and took the salary cap penalty in doing so.

I guess I just assumed that the rules from the earlier leagues were carried over season by season unless it was noted that they had been changed............

Please advise if I am misunderstanding any of this.
