Gulf League

Pick #5

Postby Ducapa » Tue Apr 11, 2006 4:08 pm

I realize TSKelly has not posted for a few days so he probably doesn't know the draft has begun. I sent him a PM, but does anybody know his email?
Oh, BTW can an administrator please delete the Gulf League which we are not using...I keep getting confused.

Cool, I think we are ready for the 6 hour time limit to be setup to speed it up just a bit.

Pope is up. I sent him a PM, but he hasn't posted since 4/5 so if anybody can email him. Does everybody even know we have started?

Next up is Glenglen, PJ, & SGTD for twop picks...are you guys aware of the draft starting? If so, we everybody is accounted for.

I also sent Pope a message via BK's sim-tastic game message board.

I have to say that I am amused by Ducapa and AcuraRL. The way you guys were talking about not wanting a high-pressure draft, I was worried that we were going to be waiting for you at every round. Instead, you guys seem the most eager to get it moving!

[quote:9941d8e046]Additionally, certain players were removed from the game because their inclusion would have unrealistically skewed game results. These players are: Jeremy Accardo, Willy Aybar, Barry Bonds, Fernando Cabrera, Matt Cain, Jeremy Hermida, Mike Jacobs, Paul Maholm, Brandon Medders, Matt Miller, Ryan Ludwick, Juan Padilla, Jon Rauch, Rene Rivera, Brian Shackelford, Ryan Shealy, Glenn Williams, Ryan Zimmerman. [/quote:9941d8e046]

I'll exclude these players from Penngray's site.

Don't get me wrong Al, I am eager to draft...I love live drafts! :D
I just wanted some flexibility built in because I don't like proxies, and my access at work is limited. But after hours, I am anxious to keep it moving along!

Okay, I know this is only the 1st rd., but this is getting a bit frustrating. I thought we would at least have 2 rds. done today. Can we start enforcing the 6 hour rule here, and give Pope until tomorrow morning or the draft moves on?

[quote:b74604ecd3]I was hoping for ... some flexibility of time limits ...
I have just been hoping to find a group that might be a little flexible and you guys seem to be cool like that.[/quote:b74604ecd3]

Let's all stay flexible and cool. Here was Meat's proposal:

[quote:b74604ecd3]leave the clock ON on weekends, think if we make it a six hour clock that should be flexible enough and something like 10am to 10 pm estrn.[/quote:b74604ecd3]

Pope was well within his six-hour time frame with his pick this morning.

Let's make sure GlenGlen and PJRedSoxFan know we've started (I know SGTD does), then we can get the clock going.

Okay, we just need to hear from PJ and we can turn the clock on. Glen has picked.
