I like the basic melody Chris, but I found myself wanting it to pick up tempo more in places. It had more of a beat than a ballad would, but I felt myself waiting for an allegreto that never came.

I did like the basic hook however. :)

Shows how little I know about what goes on around here. I didn't even know that we had a rock star in our midst.

I'm no expert (like Simon Cowell or anybody) but I dug it.

Well done. Who knew--I thought yopu just kicked my butt in SOM. :?

Nice track Big. I like it a lot. The guitar figures are sweet.

Hey, I think you have talent and have put something together that sounds good. However, I felt that it went a little to long between melody at times.

Overall, I liked it enought that I am going to listen to more of your stuff.

Good Job

Chris,

Sounds pretty good. Nice vocal work, double tracking etc...

What kind of drum programming was done?

One section has a beat goes back to the 50's with the hit on two & four, plus the "and" of 4. Next time you program that, I suggest you vary the dynamics so that the "and" is a little louder. This way, it will sound less machine like.

Another thing I hear (that is not there :) ) are some guitar fills between the vocal lines. There is a lot of space where nothing is happening. Someties this is good, but I think this tune needs it.

Please don't be offended. I'm just an opinionated drummer. 8)
