LUV the obscure glenn/glenn reference! My all-time favorite TV theme is the [original Darren McGavin] "The Night Stalker," but "Mannix," "Barnaby Jones," and the old guy played by Buddy Ebsen all had great themes. "Green Acres," of course, is better known than any of them!

And as for the playfully suspicious investigative reporter Meat...Paul's actually played a few SoM seasons without us...he can prosper on his own, I'm sure...at least until the later rounds, when he starts drafting too many borderline BoSox.

glennglenn CONTINUES to perturb me, taking weaseldom (the swiping of players you had planned on having right out from under you, especially if they pick right before you) to a new level. :twisted: I considered ken griffey jr. with the tejada pick in the second round actually, probably should have taken him instead of colon, but wanted a solid not too expensive starter, and feared griffey as either a 3 in cf, or too expensive for dh, especially with the injury roll on 3, and 15-game possibility. but that's ONE SCAREY lineup, and he's only got 3 players!!!!!

p.s., the all time best was when cbs teamed barnaby jones and cannon together! cannon, one of the all time great themes, and I don't think there was ever an episode in which william conrad didn't have atleast one scene eating. not sure I didn't once see him carrying a deli sandwich in one hand and his pistol in another in pursuit, always in his quinn/martin ford, never on foot. octogenarian buddy ebson or chronically obese frank cannon actually catching up to, beating up, wearing a suit no less, and then apprehending young toughs. what could be better or more real?! 8)
