Here's the deal, anyone who has a 2005 SOM card (ie; anyone who played MLB baseball in 2005) is eligible to be drafted in our 2006 Free Agent Draft.

So your player would have been eligible in the Supplemental Draft NP, but NOT the upcoming FA draft (if he doesn't have a SOM card).

REMINDER -- a [b:0a8de22f57]TSN card[/b:0a8de22f57] is ones that TSN has assigned to SOM cards it decided to have in this year's version of their game.

A [b:0a8de22f57]SOM card[/b:0a8de22f57] is one that is assigned to ANY player who played MLB the previous season. This includes all the Septemeber callups that we need to buold the future of our team that TSN might not have included in THEIR game becuase their numbers were so skewed.

I get that he'd be draft eligible, but becuase he doesn't have a card, for 2006 would I have been able to keep him ?

Good Question: I would say that as long as he was draft eligible when you drafted him (or any other player like that) you retain the rights to him for as long as you want. He is then a "Minor League Player" of yours so to speak.

If you make the decision to carry him then you should be able to reap the reward when his future comes to fruition.

The rest of you need to start submitting (like Mike alreayd did) a list of your drops heading into the Free Agent Draft so I can add them to the list. These need to be done in ADVANCE of us starting so don't dawdle.

You have to submit at least 11 drops up to a maximum of 16 (so that you have no less than 25 players). Ineluki will need to drop one extra as his roster has 42 players compared to the rest of us who have 41.

As soon as I have everyone's drops I will complile the final Available Free Agent List complete with positional eligibility and we can begin drafting at that time.

OK Gang, the Supplemental Draft is now officially over.

NOW, I need for you all to submit your list of drops PRIOR to the start of our 2006 Free Agent Draft.

You need to drop a minimum of 11 players up to a maximum of 16 players (ineluki you need a minimum of 12 up to a max of 17).

As soon as I have everyone's drops I will compile a complete Free Agent List complete with positional eligibility.

You will then retain the rights to that player for as many seasons as you decide to keep him (whether or not he has a card in a future season). This is how we are able to draft September Callups and other rookies necessary to the growth and survival of our Keeper League Status.
