Why do we have settings?

Just a thought:

Why don't we start a thread in the strategy forum dedicated to, as sac yankees put it:

[quote:136b3a8d43] to have a guide on just what each setting does or does not do. that's all. [/quote:136b3a8d43]

I am sure lots of the old timers will chime in.

The only reason why I say to move it there is because it might get buried quickly in this one and also it seems a bit more appropiate for that forum.

I have a bit of a hectic day tomorrow, but if by Saturday it's not up I'll get it going.

BTW, thanks for the kind words Sac. Yankees and Bleacher. 8)

Well, under the heading of "careful what you wish for". I was whining yesterday about HAL putting in Weurtz instead of Geary. HAL listened, and Geary gave up 10 runs in 4 innings.

I appreciate all the input from you guys. I am shown as a"First Ballot Hall of Famer" which just goes to show that the admsiion standards are pretty low, because you guys know a whole lot more about how this thing works than I do. I've gotten lucky a few times, but I suspect that if the truth is told my rants against HAL fall into the category of what the mental health professionals refer to as "transference". :?

I appreciate your comments--maybe if I rant less and read more, I'll learn something.
