[quote:0b6238927f="he's meat"] the city of s.f. should be ashamed of having hm for a hero. [/quote:0b6238927f]

The entire country of America should be ashamed for having all these baseball players as heroes? St. Louis should be ashamed of McGwire? Baltimore and Texas should be ashamed of Palmeiro? Seattle should be ashamed of Bret Boone?

What does the city have to do with it?

glad draft is back on track. its getting harder now though- the pickings are slimmer and my team has so many wholes.... maybe I should just ask meat who he'd pick next and take that player :)

This isn't going to make people happy, but....

I've got in 7 proxies. They may all be gone by the time it gets to me, and if that's the case, the draft is going to come to a screeching halt.

When I saw Chone Figgins picked by the Sarge, I realized that there are players out there who are a TOTAL STEAL (nice pick, Sarge!) and I'm way behind the eight bal stacking a deep proxy deck when I have no computer to surf until Sunday after I cut out of here early today.

Monday, we can hit it hard and for real. But this holiday hotel weekend, I'm not going to be much help.

bk...mister sf sensitivity...I'm referring to the shameless cheering and ovations without a sound of decent in the new a.t.t. dont call me pacbell, don't call me sbc park. (why can't candlestick sponser something?!) anyone who cheers boone in seattle, sosa or palmiero in baltimore or chicago, or mcgwire should similarly examine their priorities. atleast mcgwire has the good sense to stay away from most public spectacles, like the opening of the new busch (now THERES a name for a stadium) although the folks from the show me state would probably politely applaud.

I have Burnett in PETCO, he is lighting it up  , 0-4  . I never had Wagner before, so this should be interesting. Got in 9 holes today before we had to stop due to weather :( , but 9 holes is better than 0 holes and I was out of the office. Hope everyone has a good easter. Jam proxies by the thousands so we can coast a little. Gotta go and do a paper. I will check-in later. SGT D

Why I waited til now to ask this, I don't know, but....

What are the rules? (For this league, not for baseball in general)

I call it, "The place where the Giants play."

Everybody everywhere gives wild ovations for their steroid-inflated heroes, not just in San Francisco. We WANT to see them hit the ball out of the park. We BUY TICKETS to see that. The owners know that, which is why they dragged their feet so long about installing some kind of steroids policy that isn't pathetic.

Hey, meat, how come you haven't tried You Know What yet? C'mon in, buddy, the water's fine....

Stadium

As far as stadiums go, one of our 15 live picks must be a stadium, correct?
