Non Sportingnews strat leagues

Anyone have good experiences in non-sportingnews strat play by computer leagues? Leagues that keep players year after year, playing the games via computer by exchanging files using the strat computer game. I am in one that has been going on since 1985 and it has been a blast playing against the same group of guys year after year and wondered if others have experienced the same.
