Big,

I like your squad a lot, finding a couple of OFs will be a little bit of a chore but once that has been accomplished, you should be in decent shape.

Does 50% draft success mean .500?

Postby JIMDAKE » Fri Apr 14, 2006 1:46 pm

Top 10:
Yount -yes
Gooden -yes
Mattingly -no
Sutton -no
Randolph -yes

Puckett -no
Pena -yes
Barfield -yes
Bell -no (Horner instead, kinda changes the infield character!)
Sutter -yes

Lots of hitters parks, this should be fun but a little rough on the ERAs.

My top five went something like this

Brett- No
Ripken - No
Raines - Yes
Hernandez- No
Mitchell (or Kal Daniels -cant remember)- No

So, that was a good way to start the season..

I'm looking on the bright side... I get to play with a couple people who've ive never played before (Joyner, Larkin, Sax).. And if i get Sixto's magic year, all will be forgiven :-)

Well...League play started last night and I'm happy to say that the Stratzillas XX started out on a nice note (3-0). Of course, this game is more like a marathon than a sprint so there is a long way to go...

Sent out Jablowmi's paypal address to Bracket #2. It is completely voluntary to send 2 or 3 samolians to Jablowmi to collect for the winner of this tourney, but wouldn't it be a shame if somebody won a tourney against 47 other managers and all they got was "way to go...".

So...if you haven't sent a few bucks...git-r-done (please). If you have..."you da man"!! :D

It looks as if we've got ourselves a dogfight in the Central Division! my bats showed a little life last night, although that could be due to Tea's extremely bad pitching luck, which i'm sure will change sooner, rather than later.

lets see what you got, Yankee clippers! :-)

The Tea Swingers will be back, hopefully not in a completely reconstituted form. I think I need to pretend the first two days didn't happen. The drive for 8th place is on...
