DT -thanks for the vote but I don't see it. I have a big hole I can't fill (no money) and it will show.

I like the 3 teams in my division a lot. I don't think I will make it out of my division. And your team DT - leaded. Only weakness I see on your team is when you visit Shea and Safeco.

GL to everyone.

I just found out I've played all season without a full lineup vs. LHP ... only had 8 bats in my lineup for LH ... never set a C vs. LHP.

So H. Cota has pretty much played C both ways and scary enough he's actually been performing better vs. the LH Pitching

Most of Hammocks bats have come as a replacement hitter when someone got injured!

Well a week ago I was just hoping to finish with a winning record - so it is definitely a pleasant surprise to have my team sweep the last 6 and sneak in and win the division. Of course I've lost several key bats for much of the post-season, so we'll see if that last surge will carry us through, or if we've spent all our energy on that final push to make the playoffs.

Good luck to all playoff squads!

Got a split on the road - so hopefully I will win at least 1 at home. :)

I could see the series going to 5, but with any luck Schmidt won't crap his pants again- and how the heck did you get Cota to get 57 HRs?

Cota has 9.8 Natural HR vs. RHP, and 6 vs. LHP to go along with his 8 BP HR on either side. So basically he has 29.4 HR Chances out of 216 when playing at COORS (17 BP HR Rating vs. RH), which means he will hit a HR 13% of the time off of his card.

My divisions lowest BP HR rating vs. RH was 9, which pretty much meant Cota was going to get a HR off of his BP HR 50+ of the time, and one of the parks in my division was a Wrigley which meant 93 games of 17 BP HR rating. Not sure what vol fan was thinking, but having Schilling in Wrigley with a BP HR roll on a 7 probably wasnt a good idea (he led the league in HR Allowed).

Toss in 4 visits by John Patterson to Coors (7.75 Natural HR + 8 BP HR = 15.75 HR chances vs RHH), and the fact that Cota got a lot more AB vs. LHP than I originally planned to give him, and a little luck with the die rolls, and you get 57 HR (or 1 HR per 12 AB)!

Well as I expected, we split Games III & IV. I didnt think I'd be able to beat Kennedy, but I was not expecting that kind of blowout LOL. I did think we had a good chance vs. Pettitte though. :)

Schmidt vs. Weaver Round II, this time with Cota healthy.

Congratulations to Great Un washed and his Roustabouts on making the Finals.

This game tonight should be interesting, since it seems the Wild card always wins. I was just looking over my team- we should have called ourselves the stupid idiots- or whatever it was Johnny Damon called themselves. Although Boston had some, my team has no allstars, no top stats guys, only a couple of gold gloves.
