Twins Salary Cap

Postby rschwartz51 » Fri Sep 23, 2005 1:59 am

I read the thread and have made my team with the spirit that seemed to be communicated but I didn't see any absolute decrees so I'm listing what I did and the reason and any problems can be decided by our leader.

I cut P Dick Woodson who is in the 3 - 4 M salary range. Basic reason was that I had the SOM '69 Twins and don't remember him at all as being on the card set. Therefore, it seemed to be a player to cut.

The salary with 20 players is $76,280.

I have no objections. Please give me 10 minutes to make my pick. I need to check the available teams and where my main holes are.

Sorry to ask this of an obviously veteran crew, but I've never done a live draft before....couple of questions:

1. Do I need to go pick the team now and join the league or is that done afterwards ....

2. If it's the latter, is there a list of available players....

Sorry again - thanks!

I actually have a pdf of the original roster sheet and woodson is on there, but I'm okay with Bob's idea.

If anyone is interested in seeing the pdf let me know and I'll send it to you. It's fun looking at it if you were an old-timre like me and still have the original 1969 set....
