good thing too, because I would DEFINETLY have used heilman as a starter, especially since ill need atleast five to carry felix. I expect him to log LOTS of innings out of the pen, but I'll listen to any offers. Im sparse at 3b and in slugging, but heartened to see a couple of smallball parks already in the loop.

Meat, Gomes is worth more than a 13th or 14th pick. In another league I am in he is the top DH. He is your man if you need slugging so maybe you want to rethink it?

see what you can get for johnny ducapa...one league im in he's undrafted, another he was dropped, and recently picked up and batting .200 for the new team...the 3rd he's playing for the biomechanical man who's usually a shrewd judge of talent, but not hitting much yet there either. there's probably a better offer out there.
in other news...is mark gonna rise on easter? omar vizquel's been sitting there by his lonesome all day.

I knew Heilamn and Carrasco were relievers- have used them both in other leagues. Ducapa- Gomes is not a hot commodity in any other league I 'm in- you can always drop him during the draft part of this :)
I'm assuming we are done for the weekend since its Easter and there hasnt been a pick in almost 24 hrs

Glen - In my league after 60 some games he is in the top 10 in HRs and OBP.

Let's not go skipping anybody's picks during Easter weekend, though. We've heard from Tom. I, too, will be traveling tomorrow and Sunday and will only have computer access when I am at my brother's and can nudge his kids off their computer games - so it will be limited.


that was Al, and mark's last post was friday morning on his way to a tv shoot, plus easter festivities. those waiting should go ahead and load proxies since needs are becoming pretty obvious, and available fillers for those needs dwindling at an alarming rate. ducapa, should have posted my trade thoughts in the pm, sorry. maybe by the time you're done pumping him, you'll want to keep him! :D ive got another league where I traded for clemens and he sucks worse for me than the previous owner. ive seen robberts all over the map good and bad so far. then again, by letting everyone else in the gulf league know we've played a few games, the pressure's on to perform! :evil:
