Division Lineup

Postby mighty moose » Fri Sep 23, 2005 11:15 am

OK, traditionally what I have done for divisions (although I forgot to spell it out in the rules) is how divisions are done. They are based on draft positions, - East=1,4,7,10 - Central 2,5,8,11 - West 3,6,9,12 - which leaves -

[b:7ef22df037]East - Sykes - Modmark - CATom - Treyomo
Central - Genegrid - MrBBW - Moose - Bobschwartz
West - FrankM - Visick - Red Beards - Cubs48[/b:7ef22df037]

East teams may jump in the league now after it is created - if you're the first, create a DH league, 100 mil - call it Moose's 2 team theme - to make it easier to play with our teams faster - make it a frenzy (non waivers) league. Password it and forward it on to the board, since PT's aren't easy to do in the new board, I think it is safe to put the password here - just please don't jump in until you're told.

It would be nice to get going this week, but I don't think we should bust butt - still a lot of people left to draft.

MM: I assume stadium comes from one of our 2 teams.
Dodger stadium is for LA is Shea the Mets stadium?
I should know this, but I guess I'm too much a Mets hater :D

MM, due to differences in managerial philosophies, I can't be in the same division as Visick.

Correct on all counts Red Beards, I know I mentioned somewhere in this thread that stadium must come from one of your two teams.

And on my web site, I do have links to take you to the actual park picture for the stadiums by City name. - I did that because who remembers what city Sicks Stadium is ???

Gotta tell ya, looking over the Pilots brings back a lot of memories of that team. How many here have read [b:014b264acc]and reread and reread[/b:014b264acc] one of the great classics of American literature - "Ball Four" ??

[b:014b264acc]I'm ready to go on a beaver shoot with you guys any time.[/b:014b264acc]

I did actually meet Steve Barber once. My Dad did some drywall work at his house and took me along. All I remember was how tall he was, and I was too young to remember much more than that. I think this was before B4, so I couldn't ask him Q's about it. From what I recall, he wasn't pictured kindly in the book.
