And that is a good advantage to have. Others wont have that advantage. So be it.

Leave it the way it is, I say.

I just put together the next incarnation of the Shenandoah Express to be named "Tour Express" and the team only has 1.2 mil avl to get the last 2 players?

What did I miss here??? I am racking my brain on how this might happen, but I am stumped. It must be something blatently obvious, no doubt.

or

maybe I'm just screwy?? :?

Alphonso,

looks like whoever had the team before you made basically zero mid-season moves which means A) they didn't burn up salary cap, and B) had the team pretty close to the $80 mill from day 1.

the pitchers on the current roster account for 72 of 73 wins.

the hitters on the team account for all 201 HR.

That would create the dilemma you currently have. In order to fill out a valid autodraft card, you'll have to drop one of the over .$75 players to gain enough salary cap to draft 25 players.

AT, you'll probably have to determine who he should drop.

thats how I see it. thx,

Sean

Thanks sean. Thats what I figured too.

AT , let me know how you want me to proceed. It shouldn't be a big deal to drop someone just for the draft and fish him back out after dropping two guys.

Thanks, Alphonso

Alphonso,

Just let us know which player you are going to drop, to make room for the filler players, and that you will re-add asap. Unfortunately you will have to re-add him, before dropping him for good (if it is a player you do not wish to keep). Otherwise it should be fine. :)

Just out of curiousity - what are the odds of getting the same card 2 seasons in a row? The interesting about this theme is that you can get a player who had a bad card, Armas 83 for example, and get the same card for Season II.

Is it a 1 in 10 shot of getting the same card 2 years in a row or ??

There's a 1 in 5 chance every year. Results from each season are independent. Just like flippin' a coin.

Okay, first off my team is ready to enter. So let me know when the central is ready to enter their teams.

Second, the odds are more than 1 in 5. If you look at one season independently, then yes, it's 1 in 5. But if you're asking what are your chances of getting the same card in 2 seasons, you're chances are less than 1 in 5.

I haven't done statistics in a long time, but it goes something like this...

Possibilties:
Season 1: Card 1
Season 2: Card 1

Season 1: Card 1
Season 2: Card 2

Season 1: Card 1
Season 2: Card 3

.....

Season 1: Card 5
Season 2: Card 5

I believe there is 25 possible combinations, so your chances are 1 in 25 (or 4%), not 1 in 5 (or 25%).

Mav, you are correct, the probability is 1 in 25

Ugly, you cannot figure these teams out. don't try, just drink heavily and enjoy
