Hoboken opens 3-0 and gets 2 injury reveals as a bonus on opening night! Usable Morrisson and good Marshall cards playing in Fenway. Dykstra doubles 3 times against LHP. Magic 8-Ball says...

Outlook is good.

Elsinore Brewers go 1-2, reveal a nice Tettleton (3rd best year is still very good and MUCH better than next 2) and Fernando has a below 1.00 WHIP (but Orel gave up 7 in 6). I'll trade you my revealed Dale Murphy.

Sure. I'll take that gamble. 50/50 shot at his 5R year in my division is worth the flight risk for me.

We can work out something in league mail if you are serious.

I see I still owe one more installment of bracketology, so we'll get down to it in the next post.

I also wouldn't mind making an offer for Dale Murphy, let me see what I can offer...

Number 12 Seed - Scotalex - 0 Playoff Appearances, 0 Rings.

The region #12 seed and overall #48 seed due to this being the very first team played. I have never, ever seen a manager get his feet wet by jumping right into a pool of sharks before. I would say scotalex is grossly overmatched, and survival to the second round would be a tremendous acomplishment! Scotalex is equivalent to a university playing into the tournament, and then matching up to a #1 seed like U Conn. I annoint scotalex as the Pirates of Hampton, and if I may make a suggestion, perhaps investing a bit less in bench players, and investing those dollars into stronger everyday players will give you the edge you need to get to the next round.

Seed #12 - scotalex - Hampton

with a lot of vets to say the least.gotta admit i love the game....a few teams were just experiments and some teams never had a chance.(NEW YORK WHITE SOX)couldn,t get a break in some and i just flat out blew a few,.....but enough whining.. this league gives me a dark horse of a chance to shine so i will be paying very close attention to the rest of you fellas.1 team,1 round at a time.
My pitching is looking good for 6 games(we all know how quick that can turn around ,don,t we) and maybe a couple of spots to fill on offense but its early and we,ll just have to wait and see..... so good luck everybody and i will see you in the playoffs............A BOLD PREDICTION..........

I feel your pain, Big, I'm at 2-7.... Lefties giving me trouble as it looks like I have a RH tilted card for Kal Daniels. But finding Castillo on the wire helps, and I can always try Leflore against lefties.
Revised the number 12 seed, my apologies to scotalex and AdamKatz.
