AS for announcing keepers, I think we should do it as a pre-draft round, in the order of the draft.

And I would say no trading of draft picks - who would you trade, since we have to keep our keepers into the season.

So, normal trading (outside of keepers) once the autodraft is over makes sense.

We just need two more owners, so I will go and update my thread on the ATGI forum.

Ok I understand I think, so you're saying that no Pre season trading is allowed before we declare our keepers? and any trades MUST take place only after the draft? I was just curious because for example, before we declare our keepers, someone might be interested in Berra ( or Pesky or whomever on my roster) and I might be interested in one of his players, so if we made the trade then Berra would be one of his keepers and whomever I got would be one of my keepers....the great thing about off season trades is you don't have to make it work in the confines of the salary cap like during the regular season...and obviously you would draft acoordingly.....just a thought...

Once we get the final owner, I will attempt to post the complete rules as we've created, choose a draft day, etc. My thought is to have the live draft begin on a Wednesday. That should give us plenty of time to announce keepers, conduct the six live rounds, and set up our draft cards for the game engine.

I had not kept up with this thread so needless to say I am surprised at how much this has advanced. I see that we picked up a couple of sharks in Munich and Hornetsnest as well as a relative newcome to me in Bunze.

Since I have not commented on the thread for awhile I wanted to state once again that I will participate in this league.

I do agree in being able to change stadiums and I do think we should be able to trade one of our 7 keepers before the draft.

ok.... things are getting a little muddy... let's try and get some of these finite.
In no order

1) We're all good with 7 keepers. However,
a) exactly 7, or up to 7?
b) trades allowed before the draft?

2) Six round live draft in this thread.
3) Trades allowable or not? And when?
4) Can change parks.
5) Same divisions (as listed above)
6) 80 mil, no-DH
7) After live draft, protected players and drafted players get placed at the BOTTOM of the auto-draft card.

How long do we want between announcing keepers and the live draft? Specifically, if we allow trades....

Start it soon while everyone is paying attention. I'm OK with whatever executive decisions you make, as commissioner, on the issues you listed.

Just tell me when and where to deliver the info about my keepers and ballpark.

I appreciate the 10th pick in the draft, takes a little of the sting off from losing to Orz in the semis. Then again, I'd be happy to trade him my draft spot for the ring.
