Rapid Fire Draft League...you are on the clock!!!!

Here is the premise.

We have all played fantasy football and been in live drafts...they take 90 minutes to 2 hours...well that is what we are going to try to do here. 1 draft in 4 hours or less and the league fires up...waivers and a frenzy...trading over the weekend and we begin on Monday May 8th. The draft will be held on May 4th...Thursday evening 6:30 PM eastern......will be over 10 ish or 11ish. We put our teams in immediately and get the league rolling at midnight. We will have a 100 million dollar salary cap since it is our first time at this pace...there is a dh. We will draft at a pace of 2 minutes per pick....each round is serpentine...Draft order is based on lottery results from Tuesday May 5th. They will also determine your division and stadium...if you pick 1st then you get last choice of stadium and division. It is my hope that everyone will load up a proxy or two during their serpentine waiting period if you are near the ends....or have a pick in the chamber ready to go...if someone gets your guy...move quickly to another...the 2 minutes should not be used unless entirely neccessary. We will all be drafting at the same time so we can also trade draft choices possibly...if your time runs out it will be expected that the next guy act and make their pick and so on....there should be no gentlemenly waiting...we are all in the draft room so to speak. If you can't make this time...don't sign up. If we need to adjust the start time for some people we will move it slightly.

Any stadium changes you feel should be made...just suggest.
If everyone takes all 2 minutes we will get 135 picks or 11 rounds...then we will autodraft the rest...hopefully we will get people on an average of 1 minute or less and get all 25 picks done...but we will end at 11 PM eastern on what ever round we are on.

Proxies...how? Draft where...on these boards?

The draft is just like a fantasy football draft...we will have a 2minute clock and hopefully use Penns draftsite. The use of proxies would be if you need to step away for a few minutes or if you are at the end you can load one in and get your next pick ready... does this make sense?

what exactly happened to Penn? It seems alot of people have been implying that he quit. Does anyone know why or does Penn not care for everyone to know? Is he Ok?
