The Original USKL -- TSN Version 2011 (Chat Room)

So much so, I was wondering if there was any inetest in playing MORE than two seasons a year with this league.

Probably because I have little else committment wise anymore, but also since we have so many options in a given season in this league I would like to explore the idea of having two 1/2 season with two teams each, instead of the one per for two total.

As it is right now our current standings are: (sorry, but new owners are forced to accept the first season record of their inherited team -- it's a Franchise league after all --you are "just" the GM)

1. Ineluki's TEAM - 104-58 (One Divisional Titel)
2. Detrot-Tigers' TEAM - 97-65 (One Divisional Title)
3. AF Dickie's TEAM - 93-69 (One Divisonal Title, One World Championship)
4. Blueiguana's TEAM - 91-71
5. Fowldawg's TEAM - 86-76
6. Ninersphan's TEAM - 85-77
7. Kaviksdad's TEAM - 76-86
8. Bigmahon's TEAM - 74-88
9. Nythawk's TEAM - 72-90
10 Bubba Hotep's TEAM - 69-93
11 Cubit's TEAM - 65-97
12 Sandlotshrink's TEAM - 60-102 (ouch!!!)

arent we going to rotate divisions "elglish premier league style" like we originally discussed?

If so it would look like this:

East: fowldawg, ninersphan, bigmahon, sandlotshrink

Central: Detroit, blueiguana, bubbahotep, cubit

West: Ineluki, AF Dickie, Kaviksdad, Nythawk

draft order

Postby AFDickie » Sat Apr 22, 2006 12:57 pm

I believe based on last seasons records I should be drafting ahead of Detroit right?

I don't suppose we could use one of our draft choices to select a new park (?).

I'm pretty sure we are stuck with the park for 3 years.

We are "stuck" with our parks for 3 full years.

Sorry FD, I must have missed the division changing post. I figured since we were stuck with our pucks we were cemented in our divisions.

No Dick, we are using the same order as for the Supplemental draft. You get extra points for your World Series Title in our long term standings. Your reward for winning it all is to draft later!

I was simply listing the overall records for reference.

We are using the bonus points rules (similar to in the TOUR)

Point System

1 point for each regular season win
10 points for winning a regular season division title
5 points for winning the wild card position
5 points for making the finals
5 points for winning a league championship

Thus, here is the current leaders of the USKL:

1. Ineluki's TEAM - 119 (One Divisional Title)
2. AF Dickie's TEAM - 113 (One Divisonal Title, One World Championship)
3. Detrot-Tigers' TEAM - 107 (One Divisional Title)
4. Blueiguana's TEAM - 96 (One Wild Card)
5. Fowldawg's TEAM - 86
6. Ninersphan's TEAM - 85
7. Kaviksdad's TEAM - 76
8. Bigmahon's TEAM - 74
9. Nythawk's TEAM - 72
10 Bubba Hotep's TEAM - 69
11 Cubit's TEAM - 65
12 Sandlotshrink's TEAM - 60

And you are correct FD -- I found this surfing the old threads:

[quote:8a3400949c]With divisions, we decided that, after the first season, divisions will rotate according to record. The East will be the A league. Kind of the English Premiere League theory. [/quote:8a3400949c]

OK, looks like I overvalued Fielder & should've gone with Ellis. I am looking at FA depth at 2B (or 3B if we play Polanco at 2B) and am not liking what I see.

So, Cubit & I are in the market for 2B or 3B. We have these pieces on the trading block in the right deal:

Casey Blake
Gibbons
Lo Duca
J Cantu
Marquis
Navarro
Sanders or Alou (not both unless we are getting some RH pop back in the deal)

We would also consider trading down from our next pick. Here are some player's we'd be interested in where I am assuming price might be reasonable:

2B:
A Kennedy
O Hudson
Ellis
Iguchi

3B:
Betemit (or maybe Ramirez our Youkilis, if you're out there Hawk)
Mueller
Ensberg
Glaus
F Lopez

Let me know here if interested or send email to qksilver69***@yahoo.com, deleting the asterisks...

Thx,

Qk
