I've used Morris probably 5 times and he has always been decent to ok .If you need a cheap starter he's not all that bad . That's why I have a pen to back these guys up . I figure I will hit , if I can keep the opposition down somewhat I should win a few games . Not getting Dom in the draft scewed everything I was trying to do , but then Simmons was sitting there and I couldn't see letting him , had to pick him up . I think this should be at least a 500 club and hoping better . Thanks for the help all .

[quote:a7a1a0e5f2="Fast Freddie 69"]Say Rich don't I play you in the playoffs tonight ? I always hated the way the season ends and then there's no more manager names listed . Are you No Pianos On Our Backs ?[/quote:a7a1a0e5f2]

Yup, and I agree that it stinks that manager's name aren't shown once the season ends.

Frey for Doran was a good move. Someone else almost echoed my comments to the letter about the defensive aspect of it.

I'd look again at Yaz as a #2 hitter and Pesky as your leadoff hitter. Doran can do O.K., but he will never have a higher OBP than Pesky IMHO.

Ok Rich , I thought that was you . We finally meet in the playoffs :D Now take it easy on my team will you . This is my 4th team with the best record in a league and still haven't found the ring . I'd also like to put together Free Credits III :D

I'm going to try the lineup like this and see what happens . Can always change it around . My division is Busch '87, Forbes, and Comiskey '59 and the league is nuetrals to hitters parks after that . The West has 2 Forbes a Dunn , and a Fenway '67 . There's an oddball division . The other division is hitters parks . Should be fun and interesting .

Well good luck tonight in the playoffs. My team doesn't stand a chance. It was really a lark team built for fun. Somehow they managed to make the playoffs, but I'm not counting on much beyond the semis ........

One thing I have learned about playing this game is the regular season stats and performances generally mean nothing . I was 7-2 against you so you'd think I hold the edge . Means nothing now . Good luck .

If Jim Gantner is available, pick him up. My favorite "cheap" 2B. With an e17, he doesn't boot too many.
