Is that I find myself practically ignoring the real MLB season. I'd rather read boxscores here than "real" ones.

"Real" baseball almost seems like an after thought. It serves a purpose though. Every walk, E6, HOMERUN, RBI, SB, K, and gbA (I mean Double Play!) goes into the compilation for next years cards.

What a junkie I am. 8)

Preaching to the choir. Pirates fan here. Watching the "real" baseball gave me an ulcer...

That's one thing which is great about Strat keeper leagues (not referring specifically to TSN/Strat keeper leagues but any Strat keeper league), they get you hugely interested in the performance of your players and help make the games more interesting to watch. It works for all of the Strat sports.

I hear ya bleacher creature!

Try a fantasy league or two... might help spark some re-newed interest in the real thing.

Try watching the White Sox then if your bored with your local teams . For the 1st time in decades they are worth watching . :D :D One of the reason's I am even playing 2006 is because of last years championship .

Coffee is right - just get a Fantasy team and you'll be all set.

I found myself watching the Rockies/Phillies game last night because Garrett Atkins was at the plate. Just then they put a plug in for buying Rockies' tickets to see them at home this year (the game was the Col. feed on the DirecTV package). All I could think was "You would have to be seriously demented to be from the Denver area and watching that game (or have a Fantasy team or money on the game)"

Who the heck else is sitting at home watching a crap team play its road games? (I know they are above .500 but come on)
