Bonilla Stinkin' Up Busch

Postby hechojazz » Tue Apr 25, 2006 4:39 pm

Can't figure it out...is there maybe a hidden 6th year? A Strat-O stealth stink bomb? Or is Bonilla just not well suited for my park? 84ABs, and he is hitting a robust .226 (.188 against RHP!). Zero HR. Only 6 RBI. YUCK! And his splits see him having hit pretty well (in 20ABs) against LHP, but none of his cards are balanced left...I am puzzled. Any advice?

Add him to the Bando watch.

Apparently if you don't have Bando, you don't have a third baseman in Bracket 3.

Bonilla was intended to be my DH against RHP, since he's marginal at best defensively and has a card with 4 righty balanced years and one even balanced year. But so far he's reminding me of his Mets years...a waste of millions.

You must have gotten a good card, hecho. In my bracket he's hitting .048. For someone else thankfully.
In the auto league we're finishing, I had his .300 year (injury) but could never get him much over .240 in Busch. Boooooring Bobby. I suppose you could bat him 8th until you figure out who to replace him with. $3.8 mil buys you a lot of options.

Never liked Bonilla in the real world anyway...dropped him for Pasqua, less potential power, but he'll at least get on base and can be servicable in the OF if need be.

You don't count anyway, everything you touch is working. You'll either win your division by 40 games or have the most phenomenal collapse in SOM history, but either way, I think you have already clinched a spot in the next round.

I feel like I did good against you, I outscored you 18 - 10 and I only lost 2 out of 3, I feel lucky.

These are not my my teams mostly, but from leagues I have been in. I'm just saying the data says he is not a total loser
