Doran or Avila at 2b in Dunn?

Thanks sschu, and the rest of you guys. OK, I dropped Garcia all the way down to Dave Stewart. Upgraded R. Taylor to Konstanty. Upgraded Vuck to V. Blue. Was going to go with Stieb and B. Anderson, but decided I liked the Stewart/Blue pair better. What do you think now? :)

I prefer Blue to Knepper in Dunn. And I don't even think it's that close unless they're facing 7-8 righties on average in your division, in which case Knepper should get the nod. Knepper is not a good Dunn fit at all otherwise.

I would never start Avila, either. Prefer Evers to either him or
Doran. Like Whitaker as well in Dunn.

Klippstein works well in Dunn and usually seems to be available. I love Garcia, but in Dunn??

I originally picked Garcia because my division was about 65% RH hitters. But, over the last few days, guys have swapped some of those RHs for LH hitters, so Garcia's usefulness has lessened greatly. :)

I like Knepper, but he IS making me nervous in Dunn. So, I swapped him out for R. Roberts. Never used him before, either (like Blue). So, right now my starters are Pollett, Stewart, Blue and Roberts, with Konstanty the upgrade in the pen.

I have used Kneper at Dunn, it has been pretty good. The key is to count LH hitters in your division and overall. If it is 70% RH, Knepper can do well. Additionally, turning around the platoons and S hitters has a huge value in Dunn.

Best of luck, sschu

Doran can produce in Griffith!!! I found that by putting him in the 7 hole (hopefully middle of the order did their job) the negative clutch was not as big of a factor. I backed him up (57 steals) with Gardner/Wera (good clutch) and got great results. Doran Scored 70 runs and Gardner/Wera combined for 80 rbi. BTW, Doran put up Frank White like "D" also...
