Recently off the Injured List
Aaron, Hank, healthy for game 155

Aaron, Hank - injured games 138 through 140

Seems to be a trend here also .

Maybe a dumb question

If we give these same guys a day or two off during the season, would it make a difference?

I think there is an "injury bug" in the ATGII coding.....BUT.....it's just like real life. Guys get hurt all the time. It all washes out more or less over the course of a season or many seasons. Every team has to deal with injuries.

I put together one team where the only player that could get hurt at all was Carter . He missed 5 games all season . It was great to not have to worry about if my players were going to go down. They finished at 500 at least ! :D Was Stan , McCormick, Gilliam , Banks, Buck , Sam Rice and Enos .

No mocking here. :) I have said it many times before. Injuries are overrated. I feel the premium you pay for the lack of injury possibility is around $1mil (purely gut estimate), and IMHO, not worth it. With players who can go down for 15, you get much more bang for the buck.

Still, I like to limit them to around 4 or five on the team when possible. The above team was a live draft and I didn't realize exactly how many injury-prone guys I had til it was over.

I do like this team, though.

My Opponent's team...R. Schalk.

Postby nevdully's » Sat Apr 29, 2006 3:16 am

Schalk hurt for 2 games in game #137

comes back in game #140 and "immediately" gets hurt his first game
back for 3 more games.

comes back in game #144 and "immediately" gets hurt in his first game
back for 1 more game.

comes back in game #146 plays "6" games and gets HURT AGAIN in
game #153 for 3 more games.

"FOUR SEPERATE INJURIES" in "ONLY 10 Games Played".....

It happens alot at the end of the year....I'm convinced, but you be the
judge in your future leagues.
