what in the world is an auction league? can you give me a quick explanation? i was loooking to get in on another live draft.

See the other 2006 auction league thread page 1. Ignore rules 9 and 10 they are going to be the standard auction league rules where you have to bid on any free agents you pick up and you won't be able to trade during the auction.

It's better than a live draft because you have the chance to get any player you want, provided you'll spend money on him. You don't have to set stinking proxies and you don't have to wait for someone who hasn't set proxies, didn't turn on proxies, waits til his time is up to pick a player, or loses access to the internet and slows the whole thing down.
