I NEED HELP

I NEED HELP

Postby MIKEPOINTER » Sun Apr 30, 2006 6:11 pm

Ordinarily I draft with a batting order in mind and don't worry about it later. It didn't work out that way this time. I'm open to suggestions on my batting order. The parks in my division are 67 Fenway, 65 Metropolitan, 09 Forbes and I'm in 65 Dodger. My lineup is

C Cochrane
1B Cepeda
2B Gehringer
SS Ozzie
3B Boggs
LF F. Alou
RF Cuyler
CF platoon Wilson/Geronimo

100 mil League

SP
Koufax
Clemens
Scott
Mullin

Vs Lhp

Wilson
Gehringer
Cuyler
Alou
Cedepa
Boggs
Cochrane
Ozzie

Vs Rhp

Ozzie
Gehringer
Boggs
Cuyler
Alou
Cepeda
Cochrane
Geronimo

Wilson isn't that bad against RHP . Try both ways . He only really steals bases in the 1st spot also . If you use Wilson both ways you can free up some money . He doesn't get hurt .

My first thoughts v RHP is
Gehringer
Ozzie
Cuyler
F Alou
Cepeda
Coch

But then I see I left Boggs out....He's a base clogger with a great OBP, a tough fit here, IMHO...

Mabe Ozzie-Cuyler-Boggs, then Alou and Cepeda?

Lead off Cuyler, then Ozzie and Boggs?

Just throwing things out.

LHP may be easier, since Ozzie falls to the 9 spot, and Wilson can lead off.

Good luck.

FWIW, I've always put when Chuckie G then Ozzie because of GBAs.
Don't have let it be the only reason you do it, but keep it in mind.

Good luck.

I'll have then together on another Griffith team, if I can get a trade done for Cuyler.
