Ring Fling V Loading - Check in when team entered

Postby bkeat23 » Mon May 01, 2006 6:53 pm

Maybe I can get a busboy and a cook to play SS and 2b for my team.

Sitting with the 3rd waiver pick, thinking "Banks is gone, but Honus will slide..."

Never tried Wills before, I expect .220, 8 RBI, and 50 Steals.

Wills, Evers, and Simmons up the middle on a Griffith team

Wow Bob that sucks . What were you thinking ? Wills is ok in alot of parks but Griffith ? I don't think so . Peck or Bush would a better choice .

My left-handed relief pitcher finally came home, drunker than a skunk and looking just like Tommy Byrne,YIKES!!! Goldwater if your still looking for a celebrity to throw out the first ball, considering Yogi is on your team i think Boo Boo would be an excellent choice.

Replied to Private.....

I have a lot of the bottom to choose from, but it's 7-8-9 dead spots in the lineup. Could drop Joe D for Raj, but that moves Geronimo and SS into the prob position.

Not going to draft 2 OF top 5 again. Against everything I'd done before, but thought Meusel and Cuyler would be a great corner OF tandem. They probably will be, but I usually get Ozzie with a top 5 pick.

First time with Cochrane and Meusel, so they'll be down for 15 after the opening series.

A week to lament.

The optimism on this string is overwhelming - I feel like I am riding into some Tolkien kingdom under the influence of an evil wizard  - (not to be confused with Ozzie the good wizard)
And yes - I have Ernie the great wizard in my kindom
Looking for a winning strategy against the Hares - I think five IBB's and then a double play and a strike out - get two the next inning and take your chances - pitch to a few and then IBB until you get to the 6 hole - repeat.
With my staff you should score runs...
Gotta love having Banks, Gwynn, Mays, Stargell and Cooper to start your evening.

It's like Eeyore

I can't even trade Simmons or Cuyler for a middle infielder, tough crowd
So what I want Banks, or Chuckie G and Ozzie?!?!? :P

Could go Cuyler/Meusel/Stan/Simmons/Cochrane/Steinfeldt/Cough/Ack
