My Problem

Postby PJ Axelsson » Wed May 03, 2006 1:03 pm

My teams always get off to red hot starts like this, then collapse when it's too late to swap out players for quality replacements. I end up hopping down the price ladder hoping for the one good year out of five from my replacements as my team collapses.

I can't in sound mind make any changes to this team, despite what I suspect is the bad Dale Murphy card and Yount absolutely sucking (something he always seems to do for me in the 80s).

However, I am thoroughly enjoying watching this team steamroll through the first two weeks. :D :D :D

Look at Drabek and Lezcano as well!

A great start can mask problems your team may have therefore you stay the same and the rest get better, then by the time you figure it out it is too late

My exact problem. But...can you mess with a team that is winning like this? I haven't had any injuries that can reveal a card yet. I know Yount will hit better, he doesn't really have a card that bad. I'm not sure about Murphy, but he's been coming on lately.

This league seems to have some newer managers or some very impatient ones. A lot of quick triggers, so there should be some useful players left when I am comfortable addressing my inevitable problems.

Wow. THat's pretty impressive to be 40-11 with Yount stinking up the joint so badly!

Believe me, I had nothing to do with this. Just got lucky with the cards. Everything is on autopilot and it's [i:2969dd4101]Laissez Faire[/i:2969dd4101] - Don't touch it PJ or you'll screw it up!
