Geez. NP (I was able to get online breifly at the track) it was just a question for pete's sake. :(

But we are going to do two for sure. It gives the supplemental draft more meaning and alots for possible bad rolls and luck in a single season. It is also what we agreed to originally, and weren't able to accomplish last season. As bad as my team was I would have liked to have had the second season to see if it was really THAT bad.

How about the "September Roster Expansion" proposal? [b:ad6ef896e6]After game 138 is played and before 141 has been played[/b:ad6ef896e6] you get to increase your roster from 25 to th max 28. It could spice up the Pennant Drives and help possible fringe playoff teams.

THIS IS JUST A SUGGESTION/QUESTION/PROPOSAL????

Thx again NP, for helping finish this draftout. Now NO MORE TALK about people dropping out y'all. This league is here to STAY!!! Don't make me come over there (wherever)! :P

Expanded rosters are good stuff.

When are we starting to enter & can the divs be re-posted again? Can we start entering teams ASAP & maybe get done by tomorrow night?

Sandy with quick access again:

EAST

Fowldawg - Minute Maid Park ( 3 11 3 16 )
Ninersphan - Great American Ballpark ( 4 4 13 13 )
Bigmahon - Dolphins Stadium ( 5 5 9 3 )
Sandlotshrink - Rogers Centre ( 11 11 13 13 )

CENTRAL

Detroit-Tigers - PETCO Park ( 1 1 1 1 )
Stoney18 - Camden Yards ( 6 9 10 13 )
Bubba Hotep - SBC Park ( 7 16 4 7 )
Cubit/Qk - Fenway Park ( 14 14 4 10 )

WEST

Ineluki - Citizen's Bank Park ( 9 14 15 15 )
AF Dickie - Shea Stadium ( 15 10 7 4 )
Kaviksdad - Tropicana Field ( 8 5 9 6 )
Nythawk - Wrigley Field ( 5 8 10 14 )

I like the ide of the Roster Expansion too, so I am glad it seems cool.

Don't know if we'd get everything done by tomorrow night Qk and I am not sure we want to rush per say (but if everyone can do it so be it). I'd like to allow for some last minute hagling/trading and I want to post final 40 man rosters and all that jazz so there is no confusion. The next couple days here before the race will be pretty hectic. But anyone from the East who is ready to start the league can go ahead otherwise I will do so when I get back to the hotel tonight and post the info here.

I DO want us to start this league though (begin play) by the following Monday at the latest (May 15th).

[b:2981d05b0e]NP[/b:2981d05b0e] is up and Sandy is back on his cell phone.

I thought divisions were set up according to overall record - with the worst 4 in the east, middle 4 in the central and best 4 teams all in the west (or best in east and worst in west). Then, divisional assignments change based on overall records. Like English soccer divisions.

KD, I have posted this twice now and deferred to Fowldawg who explained the English Premiere System to me. I honestly don't know it myself, but he did and I am sure he can explain it again. For what it's worth, he did so in detail about 10 pages or so ago.

best in the east etc... that is how it WAS proposed...they may have called it the English soccer way but it was proposed the other way.

This is fowldawg's post:

[quote:b4c8c193d8]arent we going to rotate divisions "elglish premier league style" like we originally discussed?

If so it would look like this:

East: fowldawg, ninersphan, bigmahon, sandlotshrink

Central: Detroit, blueiguana, bubbahotep, cubit

West: Ineluki, AF Dickie, Kaviksdad, Nythawk
[/quote:b4c8c193d8]

I guess I didn't realize that this was how the English system was set up - I assumed that you win and you stay on top; you lose and you slide down. The draft was set up worst to first, correct? The way these divisions are set up places mixes good with bad. I don't understand what formula was used to set up the new divisions. Someone enlighten me please

And then there's this:

[quote:d09c949e3a]We are using the bonus points rules (similar to in the TOUR)

Point System

1 point for each regular season win
10 points for winning a regular season division title
5 points for winning the wild card position
5 points for making the finals
5 points for winning a league championship

Thus, here is the current leaders of the USKL:

1. Ineluki's TEAM - 119 (One Divisional Title)
2. AF Dickie's TEAM - 113 (One Divisonal Title, One World Championship)
3. Detrot-Tigers' TEAM - 107 (One Divisional Title)
4. Blueiguana's TEAM - 96 (One Wild Card)
5. Fowldawg's TEAM - 86
6. Ninersphan's TEAM - 85
7. Kaviksdad's TEAM - 76
8. Bigmahon's TEAM - 74
9. Nythawk's TEAM - 72
10 Bubba Hotep's TEAM - 69
11 Cubit's TEAM - 65
12 Sandlotshrink's TEAM - 60 [/quote:d09c949e3a]
