UPDATE_----

If some of you don't know the business I'm in then let me say that my company (Las Vegas Dissemination) is the central "clearing house" for all horse racing wagers for the Nevada Casino industry. We process every wager on horse racing for Las Vegas and the state.....Today is our biggest day of the year...Kentucky Derby...I will be heading to work in about an hour (although most of my employees are already there processing bets) and will stay there for most of the day. I will have time this morning (I hope) to put a team together but I need some help....With so many teams, I just don't remember nor can find the rules. Can someone please list it down for me and I will try to enter in a few hours....Bobby

Bobby,
Here's the short list of "rules"

25 teams to choose from 1960-1990 . Must use one of the ballparks of the era. 80M. No DH, Waivers..6 live picks the rest auto-drafted. No rules re: division, but that isn't an issue for you right now. Just yell if you have any other questions..have a great day, all!

Who's the money on for today's Derby, Bobby ? and who would you put your $$$ on ? I love horse races . I grew up around a family of harness racing folk . They own, train and race all the time in the Chicago area . I prefer the thouroughbreds myself though . :D " Come on Schnicklefritz"

I love betting on the horses but I'm a terrible handicapper. My $$ is on Point Determined, so you may want to scratch him from your list if you're going to drop a couple of bucks on today's race. :)

Thank you Marge.....

Sweetnorthernsaint (#11) 10/1 is now down to 7/1 and A.P. Warrior(#10 (15/1) is still 15/1 as of 7:45 pacific time..... These odds ONLY reflect wagering at the race track and doesn't include money from all the out-of- Kentucky sites which is a ton.....The pools will be merged following the 9th race....I was at the Palms Hotel yesterday and one man bet $40,000 to win on Sweetnorthernsaint. I make a nice percentage just to process that bet... :D :D ...

If you're betting then best of luck....Bobby

I'm in Texas and I don't think you can Off Track Bet here . I think the closest place is Louisiana for tracks or OTB's.

That would be Fred's Northern Night Hawks if he follows his previous team names . :D
