How about a real live draft?!?!

[quote:654a26d78e]I sure hope we are using Penn's site for this, keeping track of who is picked and who is not and making picks in 2 minutes without Penn's site would be very difficult!

This might seem like a lot of paperwork to some but this works well for me. Get a legal pad (or notebook paper) and write the names of 4 managers at the top of 3 pages. Use a black pen for players and a red pen for pitchers. A draft like this, especially within this time frame HAS to be planned out. List the top 5 or 6 guys at each position in order of priority. Be ready to switch from hitters to pitchers based on the "best available" player. You won't have time to do a lot of searching so you might want to print out some of the pages of players. Cross them off when picked to help keep track. Those are a couple of suggestions to help keep the draft moving and individual pick time to a minimum.

Adrian: Any luck getting Penn's site to accept two minute rounds?

6 minutes is the lowest.

You enter the time in percentages of an hour. But it will only accept one decimal place. .1 = 6 minutes. That's as low as we can go.

Penn might be able to change the code, but I wouldn't count on it.

The draft is scheduled for Saturday the 13th and we will use Friday's lotto results.

The draft will be on Penn's site. There will be a 6 minute time limit between picks.

It might be good to reconfirm.

Petrosian, are you using Oklahoma or what?

1. Petrosian (dh mildly preferred but OK either way)
2. JUMA - LA
3. TomP - OH
4. DaMan PA
5. Arkinals - MO
6. Simon31-NH
7. doc x - VA
8. unclerowser - IL
9. Linguiphilos -NJ
10. Frank Bailey - DE
11. sgl245 - FL
12. Adrian - KS - Good to go
